Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to join our team. The Director of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of human resources management within our organization, ensuring compliance with labor laws, promoting a positive workplace culture, and supporting the strategic objectives of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and oversee HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
  • HRIS System Oversight: Manage and optimize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
  • Succession Planning: Develop and implement succession planning strategies to identify and develop talent within the organization.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's long-term objectives.
  • Budget Development: Prepare and manage the human resources department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Claims Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into employee claims and grievances, ensuring fair and impartial resolution.
  • Supervision of HR Staff: Provide leadership and guidance to the human resources team, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development.
  • Consulting: Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters, providing guidance and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risks for the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in human resources management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
